Sunday Sonic re-Set

Written by Julie Telgenhoff

Today’s sonic reset comes from Elke Neher and her recording, “Taking Back Your Energy and Consciousness & Reclaim the Energy That Belongs to You.”

Elke explains that nearly every day, often without realizing it, we give part of our energy away. This can happen during highly emotional situations, through interactions with people who may unconsciously siphon our energy, when we live in fear, or when we give something power by becoming emotionally consumed by it.

Her recording is designed to help retrieve that scattered energy and consciousness so we can return to the present moment and feel more whole, grounded and fully here. She invites listeners to sit back, relax and receive the music, the healing transmission and the beneficial frequencies, while remembering to drink plenty of pure water.

Words are powerful, and I often wonder whether they can cast spells. Could that be why arranging letters into words is called “spelling”? We speak things over ourselves every day without noticing what we are declaring. We say we are exhausted, broken, overwhelmed, powerless or sick of everything, then repeat those words until they begin to sound like instructions.

Perhaps a sonic reset is also a verbal reset, a chance to stop repeating the language of depletion and begin calling our energy back. Since today is Sunday, the final day of what we call the weekend, perhaps the word itself is trying to tell us something. The week ends, and maybe our weakness can end with it.

After an entire 9 to 5 week of being worn down, pulled apart, overstimulated and drained, Sunday arrives beneath the healing SUN. It becomes a day to grow still, stop feeding everything outside of ourselves and reclaim the pieces of our energy scattered through conversations, worries, obligations, fear and emotional attachments.

Let the week end, let the weakness end, and let the SUN remind your body that light still exists. Call your energy back, call your consciousness back and call yourself back.

This is your Sunday Sonic re-Set.
